Neuquén, Misiones, Tierra del Fuego provinces to elect governors in June
The interior provinces of Neuquén, Misiones, and Tierra del Fuego are to elect their provincial governors this month. Also, the opportunity for pre-candidates opting to run for national government posts closes, looking toward the primary elections, open and simultaneous elections on August 14.
In Neuquén the elections will be held on June 12, during which current Governor Jorge Sapag, of the historic Neuquean Popular Movement, will seek reelection alongside vice governor Ana Pechen.
The Political Front (FP) run by the Radical party (UCR) are putting forward Martín Farizano as candidate for governor and senator Nanci Parrilli as vice governor.
Civic Coalition-ARI will present Ricardo Villar and Leandro López; The Libres del Sur party will present Paula Sánchez and Mercedes Lamarca. Proyecto Sur will put forward Priscila Otton and Mario Cambio and Leftist Front will put Patricia Jure (PO) with Graciela Frañol (PTS) as her vicegovernor candidate.
