BA Province PJ party meet, show strong support for CFK

Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli at the provincial Justicialist Party conference, June 4, 2011.

The Congress for the Justicialist Party (PJ) in Buenos Aires province showed their support for the eventual reelection of President Cristina de Kirchner and province Governor Daniel Scioli, however, not all agreed with the majority with José C. Paz mayor, Mario Ishii expressing his want to participate in the primary elections.

The provincial PJ party met today to formalize their party politics, alliances and push forward establishing Daniel Scioli as a candidate for governor, which included the firm support across the board for the re-election of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. In a document, the party demonstrated this support for the President by nothing they wanted to “drive the Nation’s destiny, and implement the value of Perón and Evita’s legacy.”

Ishii, present at the event in Tres de Febrero, explained, “I came to say that I want to participate in the primaries. I’m not against anyone, I just want to participate,” he said.

More than 800 congressmen took part in the party Congress in the Caseros neighbourhood, in the area of Tres de Febrero, Buenos Aires province where congressman José María Díaz Bancalari was hosting the event.
