CFK returns to BA after 3-day Italian visit
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner returned to Buenos Aires after spending three days in Italy on an official visit that included various meetings with other heads of State, and participation in Italy’s Unification celebrations in Rome. The President arrived to the Military Base at Jorge Newbery Metropolitan airport at 8.03AM.
Fernández de Kirchner left Italy at 3.30PM (in Argentina) on Friday, arriving this morning to Buenos Aires. On her arrival, the President was taken directly to the presidential residence in Olivos, by helicopter.
The President’s final activity in Venice was attending a presentation of the Venice Biennale Art exhibition, where she opened the permanent Argentine art exposition at the gallery. Later she participated in a meeting with Israeli President Shimon Peres.
