Alan Schlenker, former leader of the River Plate football hooligans was questionedat  the San Isidro  court by a prosecutor and a judge, for the murder of Mario Sansi. Schlenker was arrested last Wednesday and his lawyers remain adamant in pleading his release from prison.

Schlenker was accused of murdering Mario Sansi (21), a suspected drug dealer on May 11, 2001 in Villa Borges in the neighbourhood of Munro, Vicente Lopez in the Greater Buenos Aires area.

On Thursday one of his lawyers, Sebastián Rodríguez said “He will, as he has always done, answer all the questions that the prosecutor and judge ask. We believe he deserves the chance to be freed, so we will present the case for his release.”

Schlenker was arrested while testifying during a separate murder case, that of football fan Gonzalo Acro, who was murdered in 2007.
