Merval edges down
The panel of leading stocks index fell by 2.3 percent, to 3,176.36 points. Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose 2.3 percent and stands at 606 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US dollar trades for $4.075/$4.12 pesos, remains unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureaux de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
