UNASUR pays tribute to Néstor Kirchner in Paris
Former President Néstor Kirchner.
Former Argentine president Néstor Kirchner was honored in Paris by the twelve countries that integrate the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) during the third anniversary of the creation of the intergovernmental organization.
The ceremony, celebrated in the Luxembourg’s Gardens, had the presence of diplomatic representatives from the twelve nations composing UNASUR and French politicians.
Kirchner died last October of cardiac arrest. He was 60 years old. The former president was the first Secretary General for UNASUR.
