Merval index sinks
The panel of leading stocks index -Merval- fell 1.8 percent, to 3,323.07 points.
Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk gained 0.17 percent to 577 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US dollar currency trades for $4.075/$4.12 pesos, remains unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureaux de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
