CFK's pick for BA City Mayor's office race to be announced

A meeting celebrated in total secrecy. It was the scenario for the summit that took place at Olivos official residence with potential candidates to Buenos Aires City Mayor´s office. Amado Boudou, Daniel Filmus and Carlos Tomada. There, CFK apparently announced her pick for the coming elections on July 10^th. 

By the evening, Daniel Filmus seemed to be the next kirchnerist candidate for the Buenos Aires City mayoral elections. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner decided to back the senator’s candidacy and Labor Minister Carlos Tomada as the vice candidate.

The Economy minister, Amado Boudou, once a pre candidate, was left out of the coalition. After months of anticipation, the mystery seems to be finally over. The senator’s staff hasn’t confirmed his candidacy yet and has not spoken to the press. They are expected to make the official announcement tomorrow.
