Merval edges down

The panel of leading stocks index edged down 0.1 percent, to 3,385.77 basis points. This year’s accumulative loss was reported at 3.8% so far for 2011.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 2.53 percent to 579 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.

The US dollar currency trades for $4.07/$4.12 pesos, remains unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureaux de change in Buenos Aires downtown.

The panel of leading stocks index Bovespa dropped 0.75 percent to 62,367.36points.
