Merval moves up
The panel of leading stocks index increased by 0.7 percent to 3,388.75 basis points. It has experienced an accumulative loss of 4.5 percent this year. The index increased due to the firm petrol and financial purchases, operators reported.
Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 1.02 percent to 594 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US dollar trades for $4.07/$4.115 pesos, remains unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureaux de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian Bovespa edged up 0.24 percent to 63,825.96 basis points.
