'Gov’t-CGT alliance is not breaking up’
Secretary of Human Rights of CGT umbrella union Julio Piumato raised his voice after Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s speech yesterday added speculations and interpretations about her decision to run for reelection in October’s general elections and the relationship between the government and the labour unions.
In early statements through his Twitter account Piumato said “causing trouble is useless because the strategic alliance between the government and the CGT will not break up.”
He added that “workers do not betray nor forget those who risk themselves for them” putting in that list political figures like Hugo Moyano, Perón, Evita and Néstor (Kirchner).
“The prophets of hatred are seeking to divide the national and popular movement,” he stressed.
