'CFK will not permit extortion,' Cabinet Chief confirms
Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández.
Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández assured today that with her speech yesterday, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner showed Argentines to be presenting “a firm disposition of strength” and made it clear that “extortion of any kind will not be allowed.”
“She explained to Argentines that there were no ‘weaklings’ but to the contrary, in that the people are showing a strong disposition, where from my analysis I understand that she is saying, ‘I do not accept the exploitation of workers, with which we’ll be cracking down on and nobody will extort me,’” the Cabinet Chief stated during a radio interview.
