CFK, Boudou meet in Olivos to define BA City mayoral candidate

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and Economy Minister and Buenos Aires City Mayoral pre-candidate Amado Boudou met at Olivos presidential residence, and according to official sources, they discussed over the strategy to use in order to win the city election in July.

Sources told ámbito.com that they held a private meeting that was previously scheduled in which they discussed the name of the Kirchnerite candidate for the mayoral election.

According to sources, the president will be announcing the official candidate within the next hours. Authorities of the Economy Ministry believe that Boudou will probably be the chosen candidate.

Members at Filmus campaign headquarters were surprised, not by the encounter because they regularly meet, but because they expected the announcement to be delayed for another week.

“Until last week the order was to have the three pre-candidates for the City to keep improving the President’s presence at the region,” official sources said.
