Merval ends higher
The panel of leading stocks index rose 0.3% to 3,315.84 points. This was due to positive data from the US jobs market.
Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk dipped by 2.7% to 566 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US currency traded for AR$4.11/AR$4.07, remaining unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureaux de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian Bovespa increased 1.6 percent to 64,417.34 points.
