Cerro Porteño leave Estudiantes out of quarter-finals
Paraguay's Cerro Porteño advanced to the quarter-finals of the Libertadores Cup after defeating Estudiantes de La Plata in a penalty definition (5-3). The second leg ended as the first one, without goals, which led to the tense definition.
The match held at the Pablo Rojas stadium in Asunción, also known as “La Olla,” ended 0-0 so the pre-quarter final game had to turn to the penalties, where the local team netted five goals and Estudiantes only three.
