Merval closes lower
The panel of leading stocks index lowered 1.4% to 3,305.69 points. Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose 3.2% to 582 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US currency traded for AR$4.11/AR$4.07, remained unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureaux de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
The Brazilian Bovespa dropped 0.3 percent and stood at 63,407.01 points.
