Photos show dead men at Bin Laden's compound
A series of photographs acquired by news agency Reuters which showed three men who might have tried to defend Osama bin Laden were published after the US government had announced that it would not show photographs of the assault where the leader of Al Qaeda was killed.
The images show three dead men lying in pools of blood without weapons, two of them dressed in traditional Pakistani garb and one in a t-shirt, with blood streaming from their ears, noses and mouths.
The photos were taken by a Pakistani security official who entered to Bin Laden’s compound hours after the raid. The official anonymously sold afterwards the pictures to the news agency.
