Merval drops slightly
The panel of leading stocks index dropped 0.8 percent to 3,374.20 points.
Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose 3.1 percent to 564 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US currency traded for $4.06/$4.10 pesos, remained unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
The Euro gained two cents and stood at $6/$5.90.
