Scioli announces 'intensification of crime prevention' for BA province
Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli.
Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli announced the decision to add two thousand civilians to police stations to take over administrative tasks, forming part of “a comprehensive plan to intensify crime prevention,” thus allowing more police to patrol the streets.
“We are re-working things according to the operative necessity the people need, in order for them to live peacefully and safely,” Scioli said during a radio interview. Also, he mentioned the incorporation of more security cameras in different districts, as well as the incorporation of 3,500 new officers.
