CFK issues warning to corporations as tension mounts
While attending a rally in Santiago del Estero, Fernández de Kirchner addressed the current controversy between the Executive branch and Techint due to the government’s decision to multiply state-appointed directors in the companies where ANSeS social security administration holds shares.
“This isn’t about denying the importance of corporations in the life of a country. But it is one thing to give an opinion and participate in a country’s decision-making progress, and another thing is to impose your will upon the government,” she said.
Fernández de Kirchner vowed to keep working from the Government House “where the next president, whoever it may be, will make the decisions instead of corporations that have ruled this country for so many years.”
She then addressed the crowd, telling followers that she wants “to be forever with you, no matter where I’m standing.”
From the province’s capital city and along with Santiago del Estero Governor, Gerardo Zamora, the president inaugurated several road and public works in the localities of Dique Figueroa, La Banda, Loreto and Termas de Río Hondo.
Fernández de Kirchner also officially announced via telepresence that the Dakar Rally 2012 will begin on January 1 in Mar del Plata city instead of Buenos Aires City.
