Merval slightly higher
The panel of leading stocks index rose by 0.9 percent to 3,332.27 points. Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk gained by 1.3 percent to 547 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US dollar traded for $4.055/$4.10 pesos, gained half a cent compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureaux de change in Buenos Aires downtown.
