Macri urges opposition to 'come together, define State policies'
City Mayor Mauricio Macri
After calling a press conference, City Mayor Mauricio Macri made a call to all parties in the opposition and urged them to come together and "define their state policies" before running against the Victory Front next October. He also said he hoped for "change" this year.
"There are permanent talks with all parties in the opposition," Macri said, and stated that when the time for negotiations arrives, he will do so without pre-conditions.The Macri administration also presented a government programme, which focuses on six main issues: free public education, fight against poverty, job creation, security, infrastructure and a fiscal pact.
“If we agree with these policies, we are committed to implementing them regardless of who wins the election,” Macri said.
