Liga reach next round after beating Godoy Cruz

Ecuador''s Liga de Quito players celebrate a goal during their Copa Libertadores 2011 football match.

Ecuador’s Liga Deportiva Universitaria defeated Mendoza's Godoy Cruz 2-0 and achieved the pre-quarter finals of the Libertadores de América Cup.

Liga's Luis Bolaños opened the score only 2' after the beginning of the second half, while his teammate Hernán Barcos netted the second goal at 12'.

The game was held at the Casa Blanca stadium in Quito.

The Ecuadorean team was left first in the Group 8 and reached the pre-quarter finals along with Uruguay's Peñarol.
