Merval increases
The panel of leading stocks index increased 1.2 percent to 3,513.34 points. It has zoomed 3 percent so far in the current month.
Argentina's country-risk meanwhile increased 0.4 percent, stood at 515 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance increases 0.6 percent to 69,703.8 points. It has zoomed 0.2 percent so far in 2011.
Meanwhile, the US dollar gains 0.1 percent to R$1.614 on the local spot market.
The US currency traded for $4.075/$4.035 pesos, remained unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
Meanwhile, the euro stood at $5.75/$5.65 pesos.
