'Malvinas Islands belong to Argentina, we will never give up our claim,' CFK says

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner rejected “the colonialism that still disgraces humanity in the 21st century” then asking Great Britain to “do as the UN asked and sit down to negotiate with Argentina” over the ownership of the Malvina Islands at the official ceremony today.
The President attended the official commemoration for those who died in the Malvina's War 29 years ago, by heading the ceremony held today in Río Gallegos in Santa Cruz province.

The service began at 12PM today and other members of national and provincial governments are expected to attend, alongside the War Veterans and family members of soldiers who were lost in the war.
Today marks 29 years since the first day the conflict began between Argentina and Great Britain, which lasted from April 2 until June 14, 1982 which is marked as a national holiday.
