U2 begins 360 Tour in La Plata
U2 plays at the Único Stadium in their first show in Argentina.
The Irish band U2 began with the first of the three shows they will offer at the Único Stadium in La Plata City before 58,000 fans.
British band Muse was the supporting band, and before 10 pm, the band headed by Bono began its show with “Even better than the real thing.”
A large group of fans even camped in front of the stadium since the weekend in order to be closer to the La Garra (the claw) stage.
It is the third time that the Irish band plays in Argentina. It debuted in 1998 with three concerts and returned in 2006 with another two.
