CFK hints at reelection: ‘I’m going for more’
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
As Kirchnerite cries for her reelection continue to be heard throughout the political arena, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner attended a rally in Avellaneda and said that she’s not the leader of a government but the head of “a political project, an agenda and a vision of Argentina.” She also stated “she wouldn’t take one step back” and warned that “she’s going for more.”
“We’re going for more. We are not going to take one step back. We will never accept anything less than what we’ve obtained in all these years of work. Hope and faith have returned to all Argentines,” she said.
The President was joined by Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli, Mayor Jorge Ferraresi, Education Minister Alberto Sileoni and Buenos Aires province Social Development Minister Baldomero Alvarez de Olivera.
Many kirchnerite student organizations were present in the crowd and kept chanting songs honouring former President Néstor Kirchner.
