CGT calls for 'urgent meeting' with CFK over income tax floor
CGT labour confederation leader Hugo Moyano.
The CGT labour confederation called for an “urgent meeting” with President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in order to push for a rise in income tax floor, since almost 2 million workers are expected to pay for it due to recent salary hikes.
The decision was made by the CGT’s board during a meeting led by Hugo Moyano himself.
A possible rise in the income tax floor will be debated next Wednesday in the Lower House.
According to the organization’s press representatives, the meeting was also used to discuss the current state of health insurance companies.
Other union leaders were present besides Moyano, such as Héctor Recalde (CGT lawyer and lawmaker) and Omar Viviani (Taxi Drivers’ union).
