CFK to announce decision to seek reelection 'by late May,' D'Elía assures

Despite no official information regarding a potential decision by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to seek reelection in October, social movement leader Luis D’Elía vaguely hinted that she will announce her candidacy by the end of May of early June. He also rejected that she may decide not to run.

“There’s no chance that she will decide not to run. There are still no indications that she will run, but there’s no chance that she will not run,” he said.

The La Matanza teacher explained that she will make a decision “on her own terms, by late May or early June, and then will make the announcement she believes necessary,” D’Elía concluded.
