Recount continues in Chubut, Kirchnerite candidate remains ahead
On the sixth day of votes recount and more than a week after the Chubut gubernatorial elections, new figures reveal that Kirchnerite candidate Carlos Eliceche was 1778 votes ahead of Martion Buzzi, who is backed by current dissident Peronist Governor Mario Das Neves.
Two polling stations were contested, one in Puerto Madryn and the other in Camarones. Vote recount began in Comodoro Rivadavia, which represents 38 percent of Chubut's electoral register.
69 percent of the polls have been accounted for.

After last March 20th's elections, Buzzi proclaimed himself the winner after obtaining 38 percent of the votes, while Eliceche had 37 percent.
Both candidates consider themselves the winners, but who will govern Chubut for next four years is yet to be defined. The final vote recount will end next Friday.
Buzzi said that Kircherites wanted to "discredit an electoral process that they clearly lost."
