Merval rises 2%
The Merval index rose 1.97 percent to 3,260.82 points after having seven consecutive losing streaks. Meanwhile, the country-risk factor dropped to 578 basis points in the JP Morgan index.
The US dollar traded for 4.025/4.065 pesos, gained half a cent compared to yesterday’s closing values.
Brazil’s Bovespa climbed 0.32 percent to 66,215.94 points. The dollar increased 0.65 percent and was traded for R$1.685 on the local spot market.
