Merval drops following Japanese stocks

The panel of leading stocks index dropped 2.01 percent to 3,197.53 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk increased 1.8 percent to 608 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.

The US currency traded for $4.06/$4.02 pesos, remained unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and bureau de change in Buenos Aires downtown.

Meanwhile, the euro gained one cent and stood at $5.64/$5.52 pesos.

The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance declined 1.5 percent to 66,002.56 points.

Meanwhile, the US dollar increased 0,23 percent to R$1.671 on the local spot market.
