Bus crash in Florencio Varela leaves 26 people injured

At least 26 people were injured when a bus collided with a lorry along the provincial motorway route 36, near to the area of Bosques in Florencio Varela, according to police sources.

The accident occurred along the road which connects routeway 2 with the Buenos Aires-La Plata motorway, which leads to Buenos Aires.

The crash involved a passenger bus and a lorry carrying vegetable bundles, and resulted in 26 people being injured, who have now been transported to local hospitals.

Delays towards Buenos Aires in the area were up to 20 minutes long.
