US Air Force plane case: Justice urges Customs to present report

Judge Marcelo Aguinsky urged the Argentine Customs Office to present a report of the US military aircraft seized in Ezeiza international airport within the next 48 hours, or it will be fined for 10,000 pesos per day of delay.

The Judicial Information Centre (CIJ) unveiled that it is a report that was previously requested by Prosecutor Roberto Leanza, which is the key that will define how to continue with the case (authorities even consider to shelve it), and had to be presented on February 16.

According to judicial sources, the head of the organization, María Siomara Ayeran, had been summoned to be questioned but she did not attend, assuring that she was not able to go due to “personal problems.”

Aguinsky decided to urge the Argentine Customs Office “to present the report in court within the next 48 hours.”
