Ecuador's Liga de Quito crushed Independiente 3-0 at the game for the Group 8 of the Libertadores de América Cup held at Liga de Quito's stadium.

Paúl Ambrossi netted Liga de Quito's goal at 11' of the first half, while his team mate Miller Alejandro Bolaños at 7' of the second half.

At 33' of the second half, Patricio Urrutia netted the third goal of the Ecuadorean team.
