Riquelme reports injury, could miss derby against Vélez

Juan Román Riquelme, centrepiece of the last great controversy in Boca Juniors' world was reported injured during today's practice and there are doubts whether he will play on Sunday against Vélez Sarsfield for the fourth round of the Clausura Tournament.

Riquelme, who took a break from playing last week ordered by coach Julio César Falcioni, suffered from synovitis in his left knee.

The playmaker could not practice along with his teammates, and remained aside doing light exercises.
