CFK urges teachers to respect the school calendar
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner today praised “the development the productive sector has achieved due to positive macroeconomic conditions.”
Speaking at a school in the city of Marcos Paz, in Buenos Aires province, and inaugurating a new school year, the President added that “building schools is not a waste but an investment” stressing the government has opened 1,097 schools since 2003 and will reach 1,100.
“Today we can say we have transformed this historic place into a school with an 11 million pesos investment,” she added.
She also urged teachers all over the country to commit to the school calendar, praising the deal unions reached with the national government.
