Merval, Bovespa trade higher
The panel of leading stocks index increases 0,6 percent to 3,455.65 points in the first trading session of the week.
Argentina's country-risk meanwhile stands at 570 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance increases 0,7 percent to 67383.22 points. It has dropped 3,2 percent so far in 2011.
The US currency trades for $4.055/$4.015 pesos, remains unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
