President inaugurates Casa Patria Grande, pays homage to Kirchner
Along with Paraguayan President Fernándo Lugo and her Uruguayan counterpart José Mujica, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner inaugurated the Casa Patria Grande and paid homage to her husband, late ex President Néstor Kirchner, in his 61 birthday.
The three Head of States called for Latin America’s union during the rally held in Buenos Aires City.
“Our most important challenge (for Latin America) is to build together and united, despite the differences,” the Head of State assured during the rally in Buenos Aires City.
She added that “I didn’t know what to do this day, but he would have liked seeing me here and later in Yacyretá, in places in construction, of memory, integrity and union.”
“I would love to have him right here by my side, but he lived sixty intense years, saying what he thought, building what he wanted,” Mrs. Fernández de Kirchner said.
The rally was held at the Casa Patria Grande “Néstor Kirchner” which will function at an old house located at Carlos Pellegrini 1200.
Earlier, Mr. Mujica and Mr. Lugo also offered a speech in which they remembered Néstor Kirchner, who was also the South American Nations Union (Unasur) general-secretary.
