Merval rises 1.5%
The Merval benchmark index climbed 1.5 percent and stood at 3,435.44 points. Argentina's country-risk dropped to 570 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI+ index.
The peso-denominated Discount bond rose 2.8 percent, while the Pro15 soared 2.9 percent.
The US currency traded for $4.015/$4.055, remaining unchanged compared to yesterday's close in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
Brazil's main stock market's average performance dropped 0.07 percent, hitting 66,904.31 points.
