Fiscal surplus hits $2.105 B in January

The fiscal surplus rose 103.7 percent and reached 2.105 billion pesos during January year-on-year, according to Economy Minister Amado Boudou.
“It’s an important result that allows us to maintain social policies, infrastructure investment and debt reduction,” Mr. Boudou assured during a press conference.
The total incomes of the State reached 31.960 billion pesos, while the primary expenditure was of 29.855 billion.
The incomes soared 40.5 percent and the primary expenditure rose 37.5 percent.
