Merval sinks 1.4%
The Merval benchmark index dropped 1.4 percent, stood at 3,429.08 points. Argentina's country-risk gained 2 percent, reached 570 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI+ index.
The US currency traded for $4.015/$4.055 pesos, gained half a cent compared to yesterday's close in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
The Brazil's main stock market's average performance rose 0.7 percent, hit 66,910.48 points.
