Merval falls slightly
The Merval benchmark index dropped 1.1 percent, stood at 3,476.80 points. Argentina's country-risk gained 2.8 percent, reached 548 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI+ index.
The US currency traded for $4.05/$4.01, remaining unchanged compared to yesterday's close in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
The Brazil's main stock market's average performance fell 1.2 percent, hit 66,436.75 points.
