National Gov't seals deal with teachers' unions
After long talks, the government and the teachers’ union reached an agreement on the salary raise.
The Argentine Teachers union confirmed that they have accepted the government’s proposal on a salary base of 2,250 pesos. National authorities offered a 27 percent increase in wages as of March 1 and a teacher bonus that could reach 90 pesos.
Nevertheless, the accord does not include Buenos Aires City teachers, who told reporters that they are waiting for the City government to summon them.
