Protesters clash outside José C. Paz police station over three teenagers killed by train

A young man was hurt after a fight broke out outside of the José C. Paz police station between relatives of the three teenagers that were ran over by a train early Sunday morning in the area.

Once the violence ceased, Police Chief Néstor Quintela informed that there are three young men currently under custody, suspected of allegedly pushing the teenagers to the railways.

The death of the young men happened yesterday morning around 5 am, amidst a heavy downpour and near the José C. Paz train station.

Several witnesses assured that the youngsters were in a fight right before they fell to the railways and were ran over by a train.

Their deaths took place only three days after two trains crashed in San Miguel, leaving five dead and 120 injured.
