Three balconies collapse from building in Lanús
Workers at the site stabilizing the remaining rubble
At least three balconies from a new building still under construction fell to the ground this morning in the western part of Lanús. Local firemen are at the scene checking for victims under the rubble.
The collapse took place on a year old building still being worked on, on Llavallol and Doctor Melo, where police and firemen continue the investigation at the scene.
The subsecretary of Public Works in Lanús, José Fernández Dortona, informed a search investigation be ordered into what materials were used for the building, which caused the balconies to collapse.
