Merval inches down
The Merval benchmark index dropped 0.5 percent, and stood at 3,490.21 points. Argentina's country-risk climbed 2.6 percent and stood at 558 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI+ index.
The Boden 2014 fell 0.8 percent and the peso-denominated Discount bond, 1.2 percent.
The US currency traded for $4.00/$4.05 pesos, remaining unchanged compared to Friday’s close in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
Brazil's main stock market's average performance dropped 0.3 percent to 66,341.39 points.
