Bomb threat at Ezeiza airport
An Aerolíneas Argentinas airplane was evacuated this morning before leaving for Bogotá, Colombia due to a bomb threat in the international airport Ezeiza.
The threat was made by an anonymous phonecall to Ezeiza Air Traffic Control tower, when workers informed Airport Security Police.
After the plane was evacuated, it was moved to an area away from the terminal to be searched by the bomb squad for explosives.
Officials informed that "once the plane is cleared and assured against any risk, it'll be re-boarded and take off for Colombia".
