Uruguay beat Argentina in crucial match

Uruguay defeated Walter Perazzo's team 1-0 after Vecino opened the score and left the under 20 Argentine national football team in a complicated place at the championship final-round and far from the 2012 Olympics games in London.

Uruguay's Matías Vecino netted the only goal at 19' of the second half of the game.

 

Line-ups:

Argentina: Esteban Andrada; Hugo Nervo, Germán Pezzella, Leonel Galeano and Lucas Rodríguez; Héctor Cardozo or Adrián Martínez, Rodrigo Battaglia, Bruno Zuculini and Michael Hoyos; Juan Iturbe and Rogelio Funes Mori. Coach: Walter Perazzo.

Uruguay: Salvador Ichazo; Maximiliano Olivera, Federico Platero, Leandro Cabrera and Diego Polenta; Ángel Cayetano, Matías Vecino, Camilo Mayada and Nicolás Prieto; Adrián Luna and Federico Rodríguez. Coach: Juan Verzeri.
