Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman renewed his accusations to the police course offered by the United States at the El Salvador Institute where Buenos Aires City government sent officers of the Metropolitan Police to training and asked “what are they looking for?”

“What calls my attention is that the US Embassy offers training schools for policemen but not for doctors or artists. What are they looking for?,” the minister stated in his Twitter account.

Timerman had accused the City Mayor, Mauricio Macri, of sending officers of the Metropolitan Police to training schools funded by the United States which “in the past” gave “torture courses” organized by the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in El Salvador.

“Isn’t it striking that the city administration trains its troups in foreign academies? What would they think about the Mayor?,” the Minister asked, referring to Macri.
